FAQs

  • Why should I enroll with Energy Rewards?

Energy Rewards offers fixed rate product options backed by 100% wind renewable energy credits. All of our plans have benefits you can’t get with the standard default service. Get piece of mind with a long-term fixed rate and help the environment.
  • How do I enroll?

Enrollment is fast, simple and free. All you need is a copy of your utility bill and five minutes. Go to our enrollment page to get started. You’re only five minutes away from enrolling with Energy Rewards.
  • Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, you can call 1-877-811-7023 to cancel your service at any time. If you are enrolled in one of our fixed rate plans, there will be a $50 termination fee for 12 month offers and a $100 termination fee for 24 month offers.
  • What are the rates?

To view Energy Rewards' rates, go to our enrollment page and enter your ZIP code. You can see the rates that apply to your utility territory.
  • What will change?

When you get your bill from the utility, you’ll see “Energy Rewards” listed as your energy supplier. You’ll also see our rate applied to the supply portion of your bill.
  • What will stay the same?

Nearly everything will remain unchanged: service, delivery, maintenance and billing. You’ll still receive one bill from the utility and continue to pay the same way. If there is an emergency or issue with service, maintenance or billing, you’ll call the utility.
  • What is a variable rate versus a fixed rate?

A variable rate means that the rate can fluctuate from month to month based on seasonal demands, but it provides the flexibility of month-to-month service, as well as the ability to cancel at any time if you are ever dissatisfied. A fixed rate is a guaranteed electricity supply rate that will stay the same for a specified term.
  • Will the utility be upset if I enroll with Energy Rewards?

No, utilities and suppliers have a collaborative relationship to provide reliable energy service to customers in deregulated markets. Thanks to deregulation, independent suppliers and utilities do not compete.
